These reamers have been properly tapered to allow anyone to get the most out of a stock type carburetor,
Venturi size is often the most checked measurement if rules require a SA (stock appearing) Carburetor, Getting the MOST out of your carburetor requires you be at the MAX size allowed and at the smallest venturi convergence point. Check your rules... some rules state .615  while others state .650  if there is NO rule on size... you need it BIG!
This tool will allow you to do both or even LARGER  if your rules only state "stock appearing"   all of the made in china carburetors will benefit from a larger convergence point (the smallest point in the venturi) YOU CAN NOT DRILL YOUR CARBURETOR  with a round non tapered  drill bit and get good performance...
for a carburetor to properly draw and atomize fuel it must have a     taper > in and a taper < out.
I use this reamer by hand and  go slow and measure often,  You want to work up to the Carburetor bore you intend. I stay just BELOW the size stated in the rules so there is never an issue at the track.
If it is not checked or there are no carb bore rules this will create the ultimate Cheater Carburetor
